Interactive Art Installation

The Live Visual Synth was my senior capstone project at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee: a fully custom interactive system that allowed users to create and manipulate parametric art. Built with Raspberry Pi, Python, and JavaScript, the project integrated hardware design, firmware development, software engineering, and interface design into a cohesive, responsive user experience.
Displays System Development at Boeing

As part of Boeing’s Displays Engineering team, I contributed to the development, integration, and verification of crew alerting systems on the 777X and 787 aircraft platforms. This work combined large-scale systems integration with test automation and software verification, allowing me to directly support safety-critical avionics software in a highly regulated, collaborative engineering environment.

Makerspace Leadership at UWM

As an administrator of the Student Makerspace at UWM, I led hands-on workshops, maintained equipment, and built a welcoming community space open to all students. Supporting a membership of over 50 students, I helped others with CAD design, CNC machining, and analog electronics projects while managing fundraising efforts and coordinating with university administration to sustain operations.
Parametric Art

What began as a daily algorithmic sketching project evolved into a long-term creative coding exploration of parametric art, interactivity, and algorithmic design. The project grew to include interactive works, web-based experiments, and participation in an online creative coding community.
Self-Hosted Servers & Web Projects

Since 2019, I have maintained a distributed network of self-hosted servers as a platform for continuous learning in systems administration, full-stack deployment, and cybersecurity. This infrastructure supports personal cloud services, media streaming, game servers, and public web hosting, all fully managed within my own hardware and network.
PowerShell Automation at WI DNR

While working as an Assistant Information Management Specialist at the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, I developed PowerShell automation tools that significantly streamlined IT asset deployment. By refactoring and enhancing existing scripts, I improved stability, error recovery, and performance, enabling faster deployment of Windows devices to state employees. My fail-safe installation scripts ensured that deployments could recover gracefully from interruptions or errors, saving hundreds of hours of manual work for IT staff. In addition to automation, I created training materials and technical documentation to support ongoing use and maintenance of these systems.
I also provided live A/V and technical support for a highly publicized political debate on Wisconsin’s wolf hunting quota, ensuring uninterrupted broadcast and recording for internal and public viewers.

Laboratory Infrastructure at UWM

As Assistant Laboratory Manager at UWM, I deployed and maintained IT infrastructure to support engineering labs, and provided hands-on assistance with electronics and diagnostic equipment to support ongoing student projects.
Course Scheduling Web App

For Computer Engineering 361 at UWM, my team and I designed and implemented a full-stack course scheduling website using Django and MySQL, organized through Agile Scrum project management. The system allowed students to visually build and validate course schedules while enforcing prerequisite rules and minimizing conflicts.
